Before any cleaning begins, we conduct a thorough 30-minute consultation to ensure our ultrasonic cleaning is the safest and most suitable option for your dog. During this important assessment, we will:
Careful Oral Examination: Gently check your dog’s teeth and gums for any signs of severe dental disease, loose teeth, or other underlying issues that would require veterinary attention. Our priority is your dog’s health, and if teeth are severely compromised, we will advise a vet visit first.
Suitability Assessment: Confirm your dog’s temperament allows for a calm and cooperative cleaning experience. For the safety and comfort of both your dog and our groomer, we are unable to perform the cleaning if your dog exhibits any aggressive or biting behaviour.
Important Note: The consultation fee is non-refundable, even if we determine that your dog’s teeth are too severely compromised for our service, or if their temperament is not suitable for the procedure. This fee covers our time, professional assessment, and expert advice.
Step 2: First Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning
Cost: $140
Eligibility: Must follow a successful Oral Health Consultation.
Once your consultation is complete and your dog is deemed suitable, we will proceed with their first professional ultrasonic teeth cleaning. Using advanced, gentle ultrasonic technology, we meticulously clean each tooth, working to remove plaque and tartar buildup above the gumline. This process is designed to be as stress-free and thorough as possible, promoting healthier gums and a brighter smile.
Step 3: Ongoing Oral Health Maintenance (Add-On Sessions & Bundles)
After your dog’s initial Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning, we highly recommend regular follow-up sessions to maintain their excellent oral hygiene and prevent future buildup. Proactive care is essential for long-term dental health! These convenient maintenance sessions make it easy to keep their smile sparkling and their breath fresh. For dogs whose last cleaning was over 10 weeks ago, or who are not on a regular maintenance schedule:
- Per Session: Starting from $100.
- Reassessment Required: If a dog’s teeth have developed significant new plaque or tartar buildup since their last cleaning, the session will revert to the First Clean (Step 2) pricing of $140 to allow for the additional time and effort required for a thorough clean. This ensures we can effectively manage their oral health and maintain our high standards.
